Passengera now available on board of Railjet trains

Thanks to a joint project by České dráhy and Austrian carrier ÖBB, Railjet trains connect the cities of Prague and Graz at regular two-hour intervals ensuring a fast and comfortable connection between Czechia and Austria, since mid of 2016.

 

Railjet trains, operated by Czech Railways, offer high-quality services and a fast, quiet journey in an exquisitely designed, comfortable interior. During their journey, passengers have access to an innovative onboard infotainment portal, on this route available in Czech and German languages. 

 

Onboard WiFi enables passengers to check route details on the map as well as see points of interest along the way, watch movies, listen to music, play games, read books or browse internet using their own devices. Most people (74 %) use mobile phones, 19 % access Passengera on notebooks and 7 % of customers use tablets.  For the train operator, Passengera offers a useful tool to analyze usage data, to communicate with passengers, and to monetize onboard WiFi. The complete solution including Wi-Fi, internet access and Passengera infotainment consists of a single piece of hardware for the whole train set.Railjet trains are fully booked most of the time which confirms customers' interest in provided services.
